From 10 up to and including 17, counted at the start of the camp week. Younger children, and young people who have just turned 18 and have been to camp before, can take part after talking it through with us. In that case, simply register as usual; we will settle participation with you before the booking confirmation.
No. You can register your child at short notice as long as there are places left in the week you want. Each week has 35 places; the dates page shows whether any are still available.
Registering online takes a few minutes. Straight afterwards you receive an acknowledgement by email. We check the registration and get back to you within 48 hours. The booking confirmation secures the place and concludes the contract.
Only after the booking confirmation, when we send you the invoice by email. Payment is by bank transfer up to 3 months before camp starts; if you book later than that, within 7 days of receiving the invoice. There is no deposit, and you pay nothing when you register.
Cancelling is free of charge up to 12 weeks before camp starts. After that, 20% of the price is due up to 30 days before and 50% up to 14 days before. If you cancel less than 14 days before the start, nothing is refunded. In that case we look with you at moving the booking to another camp week or letting a substitute take the place. Details are in the terms and conditions.
The declaration of consent. You confirm it online at registration, print it and give it to your child signed on arrival. It covers swimming ability, medication, emergency care and permission to travel by train, among other things.
Supervision, nights, reaching us, homesickness and rules5 questions
Around the clock, with six to eight children per supervisor, on the water and at night too. There are no more than 35 children and teenagers at camp each week. At the lift our supervisors work alongside the cable park staff.
In every cabin a supervisor sleeps in the room next to the children. Children and supervisors never share a room, yet someone is always within earshot. Lights out is at 10 pm.
There is one number for everything: +49 (0)4207 9998776. During camp weeks it reaches the supervisors at any time; outside the season the office answers during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Otherwise, email us at kontakt@wuw-camp.de. If anything comes up with your child, we get in touch ourselves.
The supervisors are there around the clock and deal with it themselves first. If the homesickness gets stronger, we call you. If you collect your child early, the camp fee is not refunded.
The camp rules and the supervisors' instructions apply. After a serious breach, such as alcohol, drugs, violence or leaving the grounds without permission, a child can be sent home once we have spoken to you. Collection or the journey home is then at your expense, and the camp fee is not refunded.

Medication, allergies and insurance3 questions
The supervisors keep any medication your child brings and hand it out as you instruct in the declaration of consent. If your child feels unwell, we call you. For anything more serious we call a doctor. If we buy medication while your child is ill, we invoice you for it after camp.
Vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free and fructose-free meals are available. Please enter them at registration so our kitchen team can plan. We settle any questions by phone beforehand.
We recommend private liability insurance. You enter your child's health insurance at registration so we have all details at hand in an emergency.

Swimming, beginners, lifts and Pro Training6 questions
Yes. Your child must be a confident swimmer, at least at the level of the German bronze swimming badge. You confirm this at registration. Everyone wears a life jacket and helmet on the water.
Yes. More than 60 percent start with no prior experience. Everyone rides together during public sessions, and the supervisors support each child at their own level until the first lap works.
Lift 1 and Lift 2 at the cable park on Lake Alfsee, during public sessions and all together, without fixed ability groups. The lift pass is valid Monday to Friday; Sunday and Saturday are arrival and departure days.
A bookable extra for anyone who already rides confidently and has features and switch under control: 120 minutes of training a day, Monday to Friday, tailored to each rider, during public sessions and outside public opening hours with exclusive use of Lift 3 or, depending on the plan, Lift 1 or Lift 2. It runs from eight bookings. If it does not go ahead, we let you know in advance and refund the amount.
Yes. Their own wakeboard, helmet or wetsuit are welcome; please label everything with a name. A wakeboard and a wetsuit can also be booked.
We ride in the rain. You get wet wakeboarding and water-skiing anyway, and in worse weather fewer other visitors come to the cable park, which means more laps for the kids. During a thunderstorm or strong wind the cable stops, and afterwards riding continues as normal.
